The FSS Glow-up
You may have noticed our new look. FSS's knight, Sir Vis, has a sleek, new design! We thought with all the upgrades the 48 FSS has been getting - like the brand new car wash at Auto Hobby and The Liberty Club's recent renovation - our knight deserved his very own makeover.
From the fun stuff like going on ITT's trips across Europe and ODR's Hikes of the Month, to the day-to-day necessities like making gains at the Fitness Center and fueling your body at the Knights Table, FSS is here to support you! But, FSS is also supported by you. You see, every "FSS Dollar" you spend with us goes back for reinvestment into what's called the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Fund (MWRF). The money in this fund is what allows FSS to improve operations at our facilities, put on "big base events" for the community like this past weekend's Liberty Fest, and employ military spouses and dependents - just to name a few things. Now, that's a big bang for your buck!
It's a beautiful, symbiotic relationship we got going on, ya know? So, keep that mind, and whenever you see our knight, Sir Vis - whether it's in his old frock or new digs - know that you're supporting FSS and our community all at the same time. When we say FSS is made awesome by you, we mean it!
