Facility Policy & Procedures

All facility guests will adhere to the following rules:

  • Follow social distancing rules
  • Wear a mask when not exercising
  • Clean equipment before/after use
  • Not use areas that are off-limits
  • Limit workouts to the following:
    • Cardio Equipment - 30 mins
    • Select Equipment - 45 mins
    • Personal Exercise/Stretch - 30 mins

The Fitness Center Staff have developed weekly fitness classes (M-F) for you to stay fit at home. Follow us on Facebook to see how we are going to get you moving in the comnfort of your own home.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all of the Fitness Center non-virtual classes have been suspended. Furthermore, access to the RAFL Fitness Center is restricted to Active Duty Personnel only during normal business hours (no 24-hour access at this time).

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

First Class is Free!

Learn the Brazilian art of how to defend oneself. Students will be equipped with the tools to fight everday battles such as stress, weight loss, relationship issues and confidence. Learn to think through problems more constructively,
on and off the mat.

Class aimed at children (0-12yrs) but suitable for adults where imagination is used to practice yoga poses! You and your child will learn and experience the benefits of yoga while having fun. Classes will have monthly themes to learn specific poses, breathing techniques, obstacle courses, story time and games. Fee: $6 first child (2-12yrs) and $3 for additional siblings. Under 2yrs & Parents: FREE! (max 3 children per parent).

Short on time? Get in, get it done and get out. Pack an
intense workout into 30 minutes by alternating short, intense intervals. This type of training has been used by athletes to improve performance, but also benefits the average exerciser.

while breaking a sweat!

Lights Out Zumba

Wednesdays - 7:15-8:15am

Ever wanted to attend a Zumba class but were worried you would make a fool of yourself? Shed that fear and attend Lights Out Zumba where the overhead lights are out, colored lighting is on and the room is closed to non-class attendees. Forget about being self-conscious and get your workout in a fun party atmosphere!


Mondays - 11:30am-12:30pm
Wednesdays - 6:00-7:00pm

This is a low-impact and energizing way to approach fitness. A fluid, mindful yoga class designed to focus on breathing and its relationship to the poses which are designed to enhance strength, flexibility and tone.

Group Indoor Cycle

Tuesdays & Thursdays - 11:00-11:45am & 5:00-5:45pm

Put a new spin on your workout! This class is a great cardiovascular workout. Pedal through hill climbs, sprints and many other challenging drills and exercises. All levels are welcome. Remember to bring a towel and water bottle!

Total Body Conditioning

Wednesdays - 5:00-5:45pm

Spend 45 fabulous minutes targeting muscular endurance
training for total body conditioning. Utilizing compound
exercises; using large muscle groups to give a cardiovascular
effect along with improving muscular strength/endurance. Resistance can be varied making it suitable for all skill levels.

Power Stretch

Fridays - Noon-1pm

A combination of yoga and sports stretches designed to
improve functional movement, posture, balance, flexibility,
muscular strength and endurance.

Increased size with additional machines, mirrors and safety fire egress. Future plans include a squat rack, sports flooring, and age appropriate fitness machines for children ages 6-13. New Location is closer to the front desk and is advertised for use by parents with children only.

About Us

Offering state-of-the-art fitness facilities and programs for the whole family, the Fitness & Sports Center provides free weights, aerobics, exercise machines, fully equipped men’s/women’s locker rooms with sauna, fitness assessments, personal trainers and a comprehensive intramural and varsity sports program.

The RAF Lakenheath Fitness & Sports Center is comprised of a basketball court/volleyball court, weight room, two racquetball courts, nautilus room, men’s and women’s locker rooms, cardiovascular room, two softball fields, a football field with an all-weather running track and three tennis courts. Classes are available for civilians, dependents, and active duty members. All classes are free of charge.
