Month of the Military Child Round-up
April is Month of the Military Child (MoMC), and your 48 FSS facilites are here to help you show your love and appreciation for your military child! To make planning your month easier, see below for a round-up of all of the different events going on around base this month.
CYP EVENTS
Our first major CYP x MoMC event is on April 2, where we will gather at CDC West at 12pm to witness the signing of the Month of the Military Child Proclamation by our Wing Commander, General Campo. Don't miss it!
Plant Purple
Fri · April 5 | 4pm - 5pm
Join us to plant purple flowers at the Youth Center in honor of Month of the Military Child. Bring your green thumb!
MOMC Parade
Fri · April 26 | 4pm - 5pm
Join CYP for the long-awaited annual Month of the Military Child Parade! Come celebrate your military child with us! The parade will be starting from the field behind CDC West.

Help us celebrate Month of the Military Child and Earth Day all in one! By taking steps to live more sustainably, we can create less waste and give our military children a healthier, greener planet to inherit. This is just one more way to show them how much they mean to us.

Music Madness

Get the kids out to sing and dance to their favorite songs at this fun karaoke event! And, parents, you can even sing along with your kids if you'd like!
RAF Lakenheath Rocks
Mon · April 22 | FREE
Come and join us for the launch of this fun, ongoing, interactive event! We will be painting our first batch of rocks, which will then be hidden around base to find throughout the month. Finders will post their rock on social media, and then decide if they want to keep it or re-hide it for someone else to find!

SEALIFE London Aquarium

Home to one of Europe's largest collections of global marine life, the aquarium experience takes visitors on an immersive and interactive journey. Stars of the show include green turtles, seahorses, octopi, and the ever-popular duo: the clownfish and the blue tang. There will also be plenty of time to explore London at your own leisure.

Join us for our Annual Month of the Military Child Carnival on RAF Lakenheath's Youth Center. There will be field games, food trucks, vendors, and bounce houses. Come celebrate our military children!
