August Employee Spotlight

Natalie is a military spouse who has been stationed at RAF Lakenheath for two years. She loves living abroad and never misses the chance to travel! Natalie is a valued member of our Non-Appropriated Funds Accounting Office (NAF/AO). She has worked for one FSS or another for the past 18 years. After eight PCS moves, she is thankful for the continuity FSS has provided for her career. She's enjoyed working at several bases on big events like bazaars, air shows, and our very own Liberty Fest. She loves getting the opportunity to meet vendors from around the world and values her experience doing everything from renovating buildings to opening base restaurants. If there's one thing Natalie wishes people understood about her job, it's that things are more complicated than they seem! She has to work with several people from different areas of the base to even draw up a single contract. Sometimes these things take time, but we can count on her to do the job right! What she loves most about working for the 48 FSS is the people. She values the relationships she's cultivated and loves forming a community with her coworkers. Natalie is a bright and bubbly personality who can't get through a joke without laughing, and might have you cracking up at any moment! She's a great example of your FSS Dollar at work!
