May Employee Spotlight

Jacob has been living in the UK since March of 2022. He works at The Liberty Club and can whip up one mean latte! Jacob loves working at the Club because it offers flexibility and supportive staff who work together to ensure the workload doesn't become too heavy. Jacob says this helps him keep a positive outlook about being stationed overseas so far away from his family and friends back home.

One of the highlights of Jacob's career so far at The Liberty Club has been working the Air Force Ball, which he describes as a unique and challenging experience due to the massive number of people working together towards one goal. The Liberty Club plays a critical role in many of the big events that happen on base, and Jacob enjoys being a part of all that action! He enjoys the diversity in his duties and being able to wear many hats as an employee for 48 FSS. Jacob is thankful for the experience he is gaining in the hospitality industry and values that his career has not stagnated while being overseas.
