Employee Spotlight: Mike Braa
Meet your FSS Spotlight Employee
Another outstanding FSS employee is in our spotlight this month. Michael Braa works at Outdoor Recreation. You might recognize he is a friendly face from walking into the store or taking one of their new Hike of the Month tours. Mike is an excellent example of how your FSS Dollar works to provide a better way of life for our military community!
Mike has been at RAF Lakenheath for 2 years. He is currently a military spouse but proudly served as an active duty member for 6 years. One of the things he loves the most about working for the 48 fss is that it aallowsthe shim to explore. engage and share his passion interests with the military community he has been a part of for a decade. Mike says that working for the 48 FSS has shown him a new side of the military and helped him develop an appreciation for mission support personnel that he will carry with him wherever he goes.
Mike helped organize and develop the new Hike of the Month series, and you can expect to see his smiling face on each hike as the host! His position at Outdoor Recreation 48 FSS has helped reinvigorate his passion for outdoor activities and given him the opportunity to see the country while also sharing the opportunity with the tri-base community. You can catch Mike hiking out to historically relevant sights to satisfy his enthusiasm for Shakespeare.
